1. How can I write to my child?

2. What can I send my child?
You may send your child letters, photos, light weight picture frames/albums, small items such as pens, pencils, coloring books, stickers…
3. How often will I receive updates from my child?
If you are sponsoring a child under the option of Child Sponsorship (not Silent Sponsorship) you will receive at least three updates a year from your child, which includes a letter and a progress report. We try to get two photos per year of each child as well.
4. What does my sponsorship cover?

5. If I need to change my contact information or account information, how do I do that?
Please send an email to abc@calvarylahabra.org for any contact information.
DO NOT send financial information via email. Please call Karalyn at 714-473-4333 or go to our Sponsor/Donate page, input your account information, and in the “Note” section simply state that you are updating your account information.
6. How can I cancel my sponsorship?
Send an email to abc@calvarylahabra.org or call Karalyn at 714-473-4333. Please allow one week to cancel your sponsorship.
7. Can I give extra support and how do I do that?
Yes. Send us an email or go to our Sponsor/Donate page, input your account information, and in the “Note” section simply state you are increasing your support.
8. Can I meet my child?
We try to visit Rwanda once a year. Click here to see when the next trip is.
9. Can I contact my child directly?
No. We want to protect both parties from any inappropriate soliciting and protect the integrity of the foundation.
10. When do I receive a receipt for my sponsorship/donation?
We mail out an annual statement each January for the prior year ending in December. If you need a statement or do not receive yours, please send us an email requesting one.
11. Can I send my child a Christmas gift?
We do an annual fundraiser to raise enough support to buy all the children the same or similar Christmas gifts. The gifts are determined by the staff in Rwanda based on the greatest needs they see.
